These rates will give you an idea of my charges if you’re interested in using my voice for your project.
All rates are negotiable and I prefer to offer a bespoke rate when possible. Please contact me.
To calculate my rates I use a number of factors such as the medium used (e.g. radio, TV or internet), the marketplace (e.g. local or national), the length of the piece, and so on.
Non-Broadcast (Corporate, Industrial, Training Video)
Fewer than 5 mins = £175
5 to 10 mins = £200
10 to 20 mins = £250
20 to 30 mins = £300
More than 30 mins = £75 for each additional 10-minute increment
NON-BROADCAST: Education, eLearning
£200 per completed hour
There is a 1-hour minimum. £50 for each additional 15-minute increment
NON-BROADCAST and BROADCAST: Film, Video, Documentary
MODERATE-PLAY/NON-BROADCAST NARRATIONS
(Documentary on local public station only, Internet video, DVD, etc.)
Per Project: £250 +, based on the length of the script
LARGE-PLAY/BROADCAST NARRATIONS
(National Geographic documentary, etc.)
Per Project: £350 +, based on the length of the script
NON-BROADCAST: Medical, Pharmaceutical

Audiobooks are generally billed per completed hour (the length of the final product) rather than per hour (the length of time in the studio).
NARRATION RATE: £250 per completed hour

Minimum rates per spot
LOCAL: Small Market = £175+, Large Market = £200+
REGIONAL: £350
NATIONAL: £650
TAGS (5 to 10 seconds)
Local = £75
Regional = £150
National = £300

Scratch tracks can be discounted and “Buy-outs” are negotiable.
BROADCAST: TV
Minimum rates per spot
LOCAL: Small Market = £200+, Large Market = £350+
REGIONAL: £475
NATIONAL: £1,300
TAGS (5 to 10 Seconds)
Local = £100
Regional = £175
National = £250

NON-BROADCAST and BROADCAST: Animation, cartoon, video game
A standard animation session fee includes up to 3 voices. Should you require a fourth, fifth, or sixth voice, there will be an additional fee per voice.
RATES:
Broadcast (Saturday morning cartoons, Nickelodeon, etc.) = £350+ per hour
Non-Broadcast (talking toys, interactive CD-ROMs, Internet, etc.) = £200+ per hour
Animations produced in different territories tend to vary in scale and budget; an appropriate package will be created based on the particulars of the job.
Should a show be sold on to another station, expect to pay an additional “Buy-out”.
Unless otherwise specified, rates include:
- Script preparation (pronunciation, annotation etc.)
- studio fee
- professional, noise-free recording
- editing
- quality control (proof-listening)
- Free retakes, as long as they are not necessitated by changes in the script after the initial audio was recorded. (The recording of a script that was revised after the first text was officially approved and recorded, will be regarded and billed as a new project).
- uploading of audio
- My added value is always higher than my rate!
